Environmental Governance at Work: First Nations Showing the Way. 2009.
From 2006-2008, CIER worked in partnership with the National Centre for First Nation Governance (NCFNG) to research and document examples of successful environmental governance and how they are being implemented by the First Nations of the Carrier Sekani Tribal Council (CSTC). With the participation of CSTC, CIER and the NCFNG developed a 30-minute film entitled Environmental Governance at Work: First Nations Showing the Way. In this film, CSTC members shared their stories, describing how the seven elements are being implemented in their First Nations. Also, through their stories, they described the outcomes that have resulted because of their successful environmental governance.
