Climate Change and Energy Toolkit. 2005.
This toolkit provided Aboriginal and Northern communities with the information they needed to become better informed on issues relating to climate change and energy, including energy efficiency and renewable energy. This resource was developed and modified with the guidance of First Nations and Inuit men, women, and Elders from across Canada. The aim was to provide information to those Aboriginal and Northern communities that have limited access to the information readily available to other Canadians. The toolkit contained a range of information resources: booklets, pamphlets, videos, computer CD-ROMs, PDFs, website links, and posters. It was divided into three sections, depending on the type of information that you need (General, School, and Technical) and the difficulty or detail of the subject matter (Beginner or Advanced).
The toolkit is no longer available. Please see our other Climate Change resources available within the 'Building Sustainable Communities' section of the CIER website.
